Darlinghurst - Wings and Tins
What better way to celebrate the end of exams than to clink chicken wings with your brethren. That's why we headed to Wings and Tins, a cosy, hidden joint specialising in wings and beers. To the untrained eye it is incredibly difficult to spot Wings and Tins. It's located in a dark brooding alleyway where you have to avoid freezing like deer caught in headlights as cars attempt to narrowly squeeze through the space of two people's arms length. The bar doesn't have a store front, and if you see an inviting little Italian restaurant, you've gone too far. Step back a few paces. Yes, that open blue door where you glanced a toilet room on the inside- if you go up the stairs, you'll see a door spray painted with the hieroglyphic "W+T"- you've made it. Walking in, there is immediately a very warm inviting mood. The space seems like a converted terrace house, with a few booth tables, single tables and a pleasant balcony area lit with small lights.
